Job Details and Description

Description: InfoLink exists to provide students at the University of Alberta with the tools and information that will assist them to become effective stewards of their own academic and non-academic careers.

- Provide clients with accurate information, provide excellent customer service

- Utilize resources to provide students with the information they need to be successful at the University of Alberta, carry out research tasks to assist clients

- Perform administrative duties at the various InfoLink locations around the University of Alberta campus, including responsible for creating and updating office materials

- Complete special projects as assigned by the Program Lead and Assistant Program Lead

- Sell and promote special event tickets and merchandise

- Coordinate communication about events, programs and student life on InfoLink’s social media platforms

- Update and maintain the SU Events Calendar

- Opportunities to sit on voluntary focus groups and committees

Qualifications: - Must be a returning undergraduate student at the University of Alberta in the 2019/2020 school year with at least one previous year of studies at the University of Alberta.

- A detailed understanding of, or willingness to learn about, University of Alberta academic procedures and services.

- Previous cash handling experience is an asset.
The ability to provide friendly and accommodating customer service to fellow students.

- Must be available for shifts that are at least 3 - 4 consecutive hours
